Meet Ivan & Diane Bilic
Decatique Studios is the two of us — a husband-and-wife team, not a crew and not a franchise. What started as a passion for collecting in the 1980s became a business in 2010, and we have spent nearly 40 combined years learning what gives a piece value: the maker's mark, the materials, the construction, and what collectors actually pay.
What we do
We buy signed vintage costume jewelry, fine jewelry, gold and silver, and coins — and when a whole house is involved, our property cleanout work makes sure value is found before anything is hauled away. We come to you by appointment across Chicago and the North Shore, evaluate at your table, and pay the same day.
We take on one or two clients at a time, so a collection gets our undivided attention — and we charge no setup fees. Our commission is only earned when items sell.
